We were on our way to Yulee in Daddy’s old Volvo, and we were all exited about our spring break. Yulee was where our Alden 44, Juno, was at dock. Mr. Chester, a normal person who had a privet dock on the intercoastal waterway, owned the dock we use.
Mr. Tod, someone who likes to sail, John, and Emily were going with us to Walker’s Key. Now, I know what you’re thinking: “So? It’s just a nice little fun vacation to Walker’s Key. That’s just as fun and simple as going to the beach”, or something like that. Well, you’ve got it WRONG. It’s impossible to gat to Walker’s Key without a private boat, which is what an Alden 44 is. Plus, there are rough seas on the way. This trip will just be practice for our big trip across the north Atlantic. This wasn’t a very luxurious trip.
When we got there, we had lunch, and we fixed[non-important] stuff, just like a normal weekend on the boat. The next day we started the trip.
