I've read about it and even did a report about it. The palace ruins
there are simply amazing. Part of it has been rebuilt by archeologists,
and while that may not be preferable to simply restoring, it really
heightens the effect. To think that this place is almost 3,500 years old
just boggles the mind. The center of the whole place was a giant
courtyard, and all of the smaller buildings and temples and things were
built in a large rectangle around it. There was even an underground
portion that was hypothesized to have been the King and Queen's living
quarters. The whole place is truly awesome, and I am very lucky to have
been able to view it firsthand.
