K-turn

Today I did my first K-turn at the helm! We were getting out of the harbor, me at the helm as usual, and I realized that I have no room for a 180. So what I did was I shifted into reverse and turned the helm to port. Then I went into neutral and the wind turned the bow around. Then I shifted into forward, turned the throttle up to 1200 RPM and drove us out.
